If using dried beans soak 200g 12-24 hours in fridge then simmer for 55 minutes (save liquid)

Method

Fry onion until turns slightly golden, add garlic and cumin and cook for a minute longer.

Add the beans and 100ml of their water and stock and mash beans to a lumpy paste (add more liquid if required).

Serve as side dish for any Spanish or Mexican meal.

Can be used on toast with cheese melted on top
