Method

Combine butter, lemon and garlic.

Place the herbs and most of the butter in the cavity fo the chicken.  Spread remaining butter over the chicken

Cook for recommended time basting very 20-30 minutes

Fry the grains and a bay leaf in olive oil for a few minutes.  Add 400 ml water and simmer for 15 mins (buckwheat) or as appropriate for the grain.

Rinse under cold water then drain well and mix with remaining ingredients.
