Method

Cut four 13cm circles out of pastry, mark a ring 3cm inside (or similar)

Brush with melted butter

Spread ½ a teaspoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of almonds on each inner circle

Lay fig slices within the inner circle (overlapping) and brush with any remaining butter

Sprinkle with cinnamon and half of the honey

Bake for 15-18 mins at 200 (180) degrees

Drizzle remaining honey and serve with ice cream or cream.
