Method

Fry onion and garlic until softened (maybe next time try without this step and just blitz everything)

Mash onion/garlic, chickpeas and spices with fork or masher until chickpeas are totally broken down

Stir in herbs,  egg and salt and pepper if required

Mould into six balls, flatten and fry for 3 mins per side until golden brown
